Our Commitment

At The Olive Cafe & Bakery, we take food allergies and intolerances seriously. We prepare food in a kitchen that handles a wide variety of ingredients, and we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination.

The 14 Major Allergens

Our menu may contain one or more of the following 14 allergens as defined by UK food law: Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats), Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Soybeans, Milk and dairy, Nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, macadamia nuts), Celery, Mustard, Sesame, Sulphur dioxide and sulphites, Lupin, Molluscs.

Cross-Contamination

Our kitchen is not a nut-free or allergen-free environment. Dishes are prepared in areas where allergens are present. There is always a risk of cross-contamination despite our best efforts.

Before You Order

If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or coeliac disease, please inform a member of staff before ordering. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and advise you on suitable menu choices.

Halal

All meat served at The Olive Cafe & Bakery is 100% halal certified. We do not serve pork or pork-derived products.

Vegetarian and Vegan Options

We offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Please ask a member of staff or check item labels on our menu for specific dietary information.
